A direct Au(I) source for phosphine, NHC and thiolate complexes, avoiding the reduction step required when starting from Au(III) chloroaurates.
High-density gold feedstock

It disproportionates to gold metal and AuCl₃ on heating or with prolonged moisture exposure. Keep it sealed, cool and dark; we ship recently produced lots with the production date on the COA rather than aged stock. For routine gold(I) chemistry, the dimethyl sulfide adduct (CAS 29892-37-3) is more forgiving.
